RECONDITIONING:
Why regenerate a compact tractor?

This is the most frequent question our clients ask us and here we will try to answer it as clearly as possible.

Let us start by telling how these tractor are used in Japan, as this country is the number one constructor of compact tractors in the world and Japanese brands like Kubota, Iseki and Yanmar are now well known everywhere.

The first compact tractor was build in Japan after the First World War to meet the needs of an agriculture that was based on small lots of rice, vegetables and wheat crops. In Europe, and particularly in Italy, the demand for compact tractors started during the 1990s, as they were suitable for small lots of land. During the years the demand for these tractors increased steadily, together with the need for technical support both at the moment of the purchase and afterwards, in order to guarantee the buyer a perfectly regenerated tractor.

All the tractors that BETS imports have 500-2000 hours on them and as soon as they arrive they undergo a rigorous check. These tractors frequently lose oil from the RWD and the FWD because, as they are mainly used in paddy fields, the oil seal units and the gears get damaged by the constant contact with water and mud.

We have selected a team of mechanics that have been working for years in the regeneration of these tractors. We place the tractors on a hydraulic platform and perform all the checks using control charts, just as we were assembling a new machine.

We dismantle the wheel drives, change all the bearings and oil seal units and, if needed, also change the gears. We then work on the rear PTO, changing the oil seal units and checking the transmission gear, the brakes and the clutch.

Next, we check the engine, the valve gear and the nozzles, change belts and couplings, test-bench the engine and check the engine and the radiator for irregularities. We dismantle the milling cutter, check all of its parts, change the buffers and the oil seal units and mount new hoes.

After the mechanical revision, we work on the body of the tractor. The cowls are dismantled, fixed and painted with bicomponent paint, that guarantees a higher resistance to the weather.

Finally, we mount the cowls and the mudguards and apply all the labels. The whole regeneration cycle lasts around 15 days and ends with the final quality test made by our technical director.

This revision allows us to provide our client a 12 months warranty for any flaws but the wiring?s, making us the leading company of this area in the Italian market.
